(2016 was Wonder Woman's 75th Anniversary.)
Gold, red, and sky blue are the dominant colors here. While the colors pay tribute to Wonder Woman's comic book heritage, I think they also limited the appeal of this line when people were more familiar with the platinum/silver of the New 52 era and the Gal Gadot/Rebirth costume.

In November 2018, DC re-released the 2014 Jim Lee statue as part of a three-pack with Jim Lee's Batman: B&W New 52 and Superman: Man of Steel statues. Wonder Woman appears to be the least-changed of the three.
