DC Collectibles Arkham City Mr. Freeze Statue Review

DC Collectibles's Arkham statue line offers characters that aren't easy to find in 1/8 scale. To my knowledge, these are the only 1/8-scale versions of Dick Grayson (Nightwing), Jason Todd (Red Hood/Arkham Knight), Riddler, and Mr. Freeze. Therefore, I've added a couple of these to my collection to go with my 1/8-scale Artgerm Cover Girls and DC Icons statues.
Mr. Freeze has been a sort of mini-grail for me. I think the statue looks great, but it's prone to QC issues. Honestly, the statue might be too ambitious for the relatively low price point, even if the MSRP is $25 higher than the MSRP for all of the other Arkham statues. It has a lot of tubes, canisters, spikes, and other detailing that are easy to break. I got one almost a year ago (July 2018) that was supposedly "new", but the right hand peg didn't fit into the right wrist at all. (Be careful when opening the Styrofoam brick, as the right hand is wedged into a compartment in the "top" half without anything holding it in place.
I just got another one on eBay for MSRP. It's better than the one I received previously, but it has flaws that can probably be attributed to it being used as a store display. The area near the right hand peg is chipped. The entire top edge of the base is faded, it's obvious that the left foot has left some sort of shadow/imprint on the base, and the vertical edge under the toe area of the left foot is worn.
The statue is quite big and tall for 1/8 scale, which partially explains the higher MSRP. Nevertheless, I recommend that you inspect this statue in person if possible and pay no more than MSRP, despite the generally higher/inflated prices on the secondary market. This statue has another odd quirk; the factory that made the product box used two pieces and poor-quality glue, so a lot of boxes are now held together with tape.

DC Collectibles Cover Girls Wonder Woman by Joelle Jones Statue Review

I'm a fan of Joelle Jones's inky art for DC Comics, and Jack Mathews is my favorite sculptor. Therefore, I usually pre-order or buy Jones's Cover Girls statues within a week of their street dates. However, the pictures that I saw on Instagram and StatueForum.com made the Wonder Woman statue look a tad different from the prototype. Therefore, I waited for a decent discount and nabbed her for $74 (with Free Shipping).
I'm lucky because my copy looks closer to the prototype than anyone else's. The paintwork is great, and it's nice being able to see tiny details such as the grooves in Wonder Woman's armor and the wrinkles/folds/nails on her hands. The lasso is made of a high-quality wire; it has enough springiness to "give" if you press against it but then bounces back into place. The hair is a bit disappointing in that it's not as intricately sculpted as Mera's hair, and the matte paint is rather dull.
The statue is big for 1/7-scale. From the bottom of the boots to the top of her head, Wonder Woman is about 10.5-inches tall. If she were standing straight, her height would be roughly 10.75 inches. This would make Diana of Themyscira about 6'3" tall "in real life"!
Compared to all of the other Joelle Jones Cover Girls, I would rank this second behind Batgirl. Yes, it's true that Batgirl is my favorite character, but the handstand pose is unique enough to place her in front of the other statues, most of whom are standing on their feet waiting for the bus.
