Due to low pre-orders, Diamond Select Toys did not manufacture a full run of 3000 pieces for several of the Batman The Animated Series busts.  The ones that were in short supply appreciated quickly in value on the secondary market, to the point where some were selling for more than $400 or $500 (from an MSRP of $60).  Diamond eventually brought some of these back into production, and they were released late in 2020 or early in 2021 depending on where you live in the world.

Still, Mr. Freeze was originally released back in 2017.  I got one from BBTS marked in the 500s.  Did Diamond really make less than 500 back in the day?  That seems like an inefficient and possibly costly decision.

Mr. Freeze is in scale with the other characters, but his box is larger due to his pose and gun.  The gun extends so far in front of him that Diamond just cut a hole in the "top" half of the Styrofoam brick to avoid causing the gun to crack or break during transit.  On my copy, the helmet isn't entirely clean (see the edge where it meets the bodysuit), and the body doesn't sit fully flush against the base.

As far as this line goes, I only collected the female characters up until now.  Given the size, QC, and general lack of detail (due to the animation style), I would say MSRP or less is fine.  These definitely aren't worth $400 or $500 (but someone out there is willing and able to pay, lol).

QC is generally okay, but on mine, the paint application on the black shirt and the purple question mark on the necktie are a bit disappointing.  You may see some areas where the pieces weren't glued or cut well, such as on the neck where the skin meets the shirt collar.

DST Gallery DC Comics Green Arrow PVC Statue Review

I'm a casual fan of Green Arrow, primarily through motion picture adaptations such as the CW's Arrow and Justice League Unlimited.  I like Diamond's PVC statue of Stephen Amell much more than their statues of Grant Gustin or Melissa Benoist, but since I already have the 1/6-scale statues based on those actors by DC Collectibles, I decided to get this statue instead.  It's supposed to be based on his appearance in the comics, but since I actually have more of Diamond's DCAU statues rather than the "comics" versions, I'm glad that it resembles Green Arrow's design in Justice League Unlimited.  I can display it with Black Canary.

QC is good overall, though there are some areas with excess glue.  I like the attempt at giving the statue extra detail, such as the battle damage scratches on the back of the quiver and shoulder pads.  The bow is made from a softer plastic than the rest of the statue, so you can actually pull the bow string and bend the bow.  Just don't go overboard, though, lol.

Like most other Diamond products based on DC Comics characters, this statue is becoming scarce.  BBTS still has it for less than MSRP, so I recommend getting it from them sooner rather than later.
