If you're a Batwoman fan, it can be tough finding worthwhile tchotchkes.  The Kotobukiya bishoujo statue has a ridiculous pose and some paint gaps in one of the interchangeable heads.  The first Bombshells statue had horrendous QC issues.  The Artgerm Cover Girls statue looks rather stiff.  I'm happy to report that Diamond Select Toys has made the first Batwoman statue that I can recommend without hesitation.

The packaging consists of plastic trays inside a cardboard box with windows on three sides and the top.  The box serves its purpose, though I wish that Diamond had used Batwoman's logo instead of Batman's for the artwork.

Batwoman's costume is minimalistic by design, though the use of black and red creates a striking contrast.  Although writers frequently refer to Batman's ability to strike fear in criminals' hearts, I imagine Batwoman's almost demonic appearance would be scarier than Batman's in real life.

Diamond used a combination of matte and glossy paint for different parts of the statue.  The paintwork is very nice, and the statue has a believable "in action" pose, as if Batwoman has just landed on the ground after leaping off a high perch.
