Unfortunately for Joelle Jones fans, DC Collectibles (now DC Direct) did not commission a Poison Ivy statue from her.  I really wanted one to display alongside her Harley Quinn and two Catwoman statues.  However, DC Collectibles commissioned a Harley Quinn & Poison Ivy couples statue, sculpted by Jack Mathews.  Since Mathews also sculpted all of the Joelle Jones Cover Girls statues, this one looks like part of the set.

The plastic bag is too big, which makes it difficult to keep the two Styrofoam brick halves closed.  I swapped the plastic bag with the one included with the Bombshells Batman & Catwoman statue, which paradoxically is too small for that item.

The statue is almost entirely one piece, with the obvious exception of Harley Quinn's head.  The two bodies are permanently attached to the base.  The flower in Harley Quinn's right hand is made from plastic, so it has some give.  The small vine wrapped around Harley Quinn's left foot is also made of a slightly bendable material, either plastic or maybe a metal wire.

Like Joelle Jones, Emanuela Lupacchino tends to use her face as the basis for drawing female characters' faces.  Jack Mathews basically sculpted Joelle Jones's face on her Cover Girls statues.  Here, both characters resemble Lupacchino, but there's a nice contrast between Poison Ivy's serious demeanor and Harley Quinn's joyful expression.  Mathews also sculpted the Bombshells Wonder Woman, Supergirl, and Mera busts based on Lupacchino's artwork.  (Interestingly, Lupacchino was a scientist before she became an artist.)

Harley Quinn is almost standing straight, and from the bottom of her stiletto heels to the top of her head, she's about 10-inches tall.  Subtracting the stiletto heels, Harley Quinn would be about 5'7" "in real life".

The statue has a lot of fine details, such as the vines coming through the tiled floor, patterns on the clothing, Harley Quinn's fishnets on her arms and legs, and even the glitter on Harley Quinn's shorts -- a detail that Lupacchino requested.  This is a very beautiful piece, and it's popular enough that I never saw it sell for less than $200 anywhere.  I do wish that Harley Quinn's pigtails were shorter/smaller, but the statue will usually be displayed in a way that hides the pigtails.

I'm looking forward to pairing this statue with the Joelle Jones Catwoman Wedding dress statue.
