DeepDiscount.com has a bad habit of canceling statue pre-orders, so when I came across a good deal on Google (20% off the current sale price) for the Cover Girls Huntress by Joelle Jones statue, I half expected my order to be canceled. However, I placed my order on Monday, January 20, and it arrived today, Thursday, January 24.
I think some of the hair is made from plastic, so it's slightly pliable.
In some early reviews, it appeared that the arrow on the crossbow can be easily damaged, though mine looks fine.
Overall QC is pretty good, but on my copy, you can see some glue where the lower left leg was attached to the left thigh. There's also a small paint chip on the left boot sole (near the front).
The statue's overall height, including the base, is 9.25-inches tall. If you measure Huntress herself, she's about 9.5-inches tall, or 5-foot-6.5-inches tall "in real life". Due to how she's posed, Catwoman is still the smallest statue in this wave of Cover Girls statues.
I think this is the first time that the core Birds of Prey group of Barbara Gordon, Dinah Lance, and Helena Bertinelli have been created in the same statue line/style. (The Wave 2 Artgerm statues don't really count because that Huntress was Helena Wayne from Earth 2.) Some paired/group shots:
(Nightwing is 1/6-scale.)
